She leaves a substantial donation to the University of Milgrom's Rossberg School of Journalism. A news report on the Citadel later announces that the SSV Shasta was destroyed in the Horse Head Nebula, killing everyone on board including Diana. If Diana is not allowed aboard the Normandy, she will embed with the SSV Shasta, an Alliance dreadnought. ![]() Shepard can, however, ask her to leave the Normandy at any time. Diana aids the war effort as long as she is on the Normandy. Once onboard, she takes up residence in the starboard cargo bay. Shepard may choose whether to allow her to join the crew. If Shepard has demonstrated violent tendencies towards other reporters in the past, Allers is well aware of the Commander's track record, claiming that such antics haven't exactly endeared the Commander to the galactic audience however, she makes the case that this can change with her help. If spoken to, she asks for permission to serve as embedded journalist onboard the Normandy. On Shepard's first visit to the Citadel, Diana can be seen at the lounge of Normandy Dock: Bay D24 attempting to extract information from Normandy ensign Copeland. If she asks the player further about petitioning the Council, agree on the negotiation and keep the interview rolling.After the Commander defends the Citadel from a Cerberus attack, she'll record a second interview. In this interview, be gentle and bright, letting her know that the current situation is very different from the Krogan Rebellions. The first interview will happen after the mission on Tuchanka. ![]() Outside of this, the main time for players to shine is during their interviews. Make sure, however, to not romance anyone else while pursuing Allers, as she will remove herself from flirting with the Commander. These often won't boil down too much, but offering her access to information about Earth and supporting her livelihood will win the Commander some brownie points. ![]() Between missions, Allers can have some small ambient conversations with the Commander. Within her time aboard she can be persuaded into whichever direction the Commander decides to swing. Aboard, she'll push her aid to the war effort for the Commander with her reports. Accept her onto the ship to continue the Commander's relationship with her. She makes it clear that she is offering the player to edit what she records and what is allowed off of the ship, making her offer fairly enticing. Once the player speaks with her, she'll ask to join the crew and join the journey to learn more and improve her segment on Battlespace. She'll be hanging out in the lounge of Normandy Dock: Bay D24. This can be done on the Commander's first visit to the Citadel. Players first need to find and collect Diana.
